Daisy Tucker and Mr. NYC is a 78-episode American vertical comedic romance series which dropped on August 11, 2025 on ReelShort app. It is so trashy that I guarantee you will chuckle and trash talk the drama right from the start until the end, but still have an enjoyable watch as long as you don’t take it seriously… I don’t know why I clicked to watch the free episodes in the first place and then I couldn’t stop watching as it is so hilarious. Maybe it is the name Daisy Tucker which sounds like one of those bad TV series about hillbillies or country bumpkins from the olden days, LOL… You know the type of show that is so bad it’s good…

Yes, that’s an actual line from the drama, LOL… Also the one song being sung in the series is so bad that I don’t know why they didn’t use one of those royalty free songs which would have been 100% better, LOL…
One thing I must say about the vertical series is that there is no two ways about it, you know who the villains are right from the start. There is no dilly dallying about the plotlines either by dragging out any suspenseful scenes, any problem that arises can be solved by the rich and powerful hero protagonist within minutes, LOL… Compared to mainstream good vs evil dramas where the villain always holds the upper hand for most of the story until the hero finally defeats the villain in the final minutes, you will have none of that in vertical dramas. The villainous acts always get caught straight away, it is uncanny how the hero always arrives on the scene of bullying and then the villain has to grovel his/her way out of it, usually to no avail and that’s the end of the character which in a way was quite satisfying to watch.
After a flash marriage, country girl Daisy finds herself married to her new boss, Hamilton Smith, owner of Smith Media. But misunderstandings and plots by Hamilton’s evil VP, Bianca, threaten to destroy their relationship before they can confess that they really love each other.
