By day, Arlo is a cool, aloof art teacher; by night, he’s a reckless gambler drowning in massive debt. Forced to sell himself to pay it off, he ends up under the “patronage” of Zane. Bound by a sugar arrangement, Arlo insists on keeping his day job, while the fastidious and controlling Zane warns him not to dirty himself, since he has a compulsive need for cleanliness.
Arlo mocks Zane, telling him not to fall for him as he is “straight” and only in it for the money. Yet from then on, the two begin leading a double life: a campus-style romance by day, and a ruthless duo dominating the underground gambling scene by night.
