Contrast コントラスト is an 8-episode Japanese BL series which will premiere on March 13, 2026 on FOD. It is adapted from the manga of the same name by itz.
The drama stars Iuchi Haruhi 井内悠陽 as Kanata and Akune Haruse 阿久根温世 as Akira.
Kanata is a handsome young man who can’t help but be the center of attention, even when his mind is miles away. Akira is the perfect student who barely talks to anyone. They don’t even know each other’s names, but they can’t forget each other’s faces. And then one day, these two happen to meet on the stairwell near the rooftop and find comfort in each other’s company. From then on, it becomes their secret rendezvous spot. Slowly they discover that while they might be completely different, they both have feelings for each other.
