Life in Smokey Blue スモークブルーの雨のち晴れ is a 10-episode Japanese mature BL series which will premiere on the early hours of April 7, 2026 in Japan and later that evening (Taiwanese time) internationally. It is adapted from the manga series of the same name by Hamada Kamome 波真田かもめ.
Life in Smokey Blue is a bittersweet love story for adults – depicting the lives and romances of two people in their late 30s who quit their corporate jobs.
Azuma Sakutaro, once a top-performing salesman, now struggles with his career. One night at a gay bar, he nearly finds himself in danger – until he is rescued by his former colleague, Kuji Shizuka. Eight years after their last encounter, Kuji reappears in his life. His sharp tongue remains unchanged, but now he has long hair and works as a translator.
