Be Loved in House is an upcoming 12-episode BL drama series from Taiwan that will premiere in Taiwan and Japan simultaneously on May 20, 2021. It is a co-production from Taiwan’s Vidol and KKTV with Japan’s SPO Entertainment, that’s why a lot of teasers and news about the series you can find online are in Japanese, which confused me at first, LOL… There are 4 songs announced for the OST, and the first MV, Promise 約定, will be released on the same day as the series premiere, so I will add it here when it is available. For the moment, here’s the trailer for the series… For those of you who are familiar with the HIStory series, one of the leads, Aaron Lai 賴東賢, was in HIStory: My Hero!

Tears on Fire (Taiwanese TV series OST) 電視劇《火神的眼淚》片頭片尾曲
Tears on Fire 火神的眼淚 is a new Taiwanese TV series which premiered on May 1, 2021. It is a 10-episode drama about the lives of firefighters. I’ve just listened to the opening theme song, Just Stay with Me 因為是你, sung by WeiBird 韋禮安 and I really like the song. The closing theme song, Still Around 繞, is sung by Maggie Chiang 江美琪, but only a 90-second teaser MV is available at the moment, but I will add it here when they release the full MV.

No Regrets 不遺憾 (Chinese Movie “My Love” Theme Song 電影《你的婚禮》主題曲) – Ronghao Li 李榮浩
My Love 你的婚禮 is a new Chinese romantic movie that premiered on April 30, 2021 in China. The movie is a remake of the 2018 South Korean’s movie On Your Wedding Day 너의 결혼식. According to news report, the movie opening day’s box office brought in over 100 million RMB (about 15 million USD), taking the top spot as the most watched movie for the May 1 weekend, which doubles the box office’s taking of the second place movie, Cliff Walkers 懸崖之上. The theme song is 不遺憾 (translated as No Regrets) sung by Li Ronghao 李榮浩 and I really like it, so here it is…

The Love’s Outlet (Taiwanese TV Series OST) 網絡劇《愛的奧特萊斯》主題曲
The Love’s Outlet 愛的奧特萊斯 is an upcoming BL TV series from Taiwan. It will premiere on May 20, 2021 (Update May 22, 2021: premiere date postponed to a later date) with 50 episodes of 3 minutes each. However looking at the schedule, there will be 6 episodes on May 20, so 18 minutes to start with, then followed by 2 episodes per weekday. It is categorised as a BL series, but after watching the trailers, I can’t tell if it is a full BL series, or just part BL series, LOL… However the main theme song has already been released and it is sung by well-known Taiwanese singer-songwriter, Tank, so here it is…
Update June 3, 2021: The new premiere date is June 17, 2021.

Bump It Again If You Have The Guts (Audio Drama Songs) 廣播劇《有種你再撞一下》主題曲
I’ve just started reading this BL novel yesterday, and I’m already hooked and can’t put it down! I know it has a weird name (my own direct title translation into English as I can’t seem to find any English translated novel for this one) but it makes sense after you’ve read the first few chapters… The novel is written by Wuzhe 巫哲, who also wrote the excellent Saye 撒野. This story is quite light-hearted and humorous with a bit of mysterious (maybe quite sad) background for the MC and a happy-go-lucky ML, just what I needed after just finishing the epic The Return of Cambrian Period 寒武再臨 over the weekend… The ML likes to sing, especially when showering, so even as I’m just about 20-something chapters in, he has already sang quite a few songs, and it was quite fun trying to figure out what songs he was singing as we only got bits and pieces of the lyrics, LOL…
