Under the Oak Tree 상수리나무 아래 is a very popular Korean webnovel, well, apparently it is a very FAMOUS novel which I just found out, LOL… I have never heard of it until today after I came across the OST, and then checking out the novel! It is an on-going serialized novel beginning in 2017 written by Sooji Kim 김수지 and it has been adapted into webtoon since August 31, 2020. The English version of the webtoon is available since the beginning of this year.

Paint with Love ใส่รักป้ายสี (Thai title translated literally as Put Label on Love) is a new 8-episode Thai BL series that premiered on November 26, 2021. This is the second series on air at the moment with Singto Prachaya (SOTUS, SOTUS S, He’s Coming to Me) as one of the main leads, his other series being broadcast currently is Baker Boys. I’ve watched the first episode and I really enjoyed it. Also happy to see another familiar face, Maengmum Tanshi Bumrungkit (Yiwha from Together with Me) appearing in this series!

Now, We Are Breaking Up 지금, 헤어지는 중입니다, or its Chinese title 現正分手中, is a new 16-episode South Korean drama that premiered on November 12, 2021. Apparently it is one of the hottest Korean dramas airing at the moment. I chanced upon it after Sony Music Taiwan re-uploaded two songs from the OST with Chinese subtitles, as they don’t usually bothered doubling up official MVs with specific Chinese subtitles unless the drama has become very popular with Chinese viewers… I checked the official Korean MVs for this series, and they have already put out about 6 MVs currently with more to come… I really like the songs, so here they are…

Light the Night 華燈初上 (Taiwanese Series OST)
Light the Night 華燈初上 is a new Taiwanese webdrama that premiered on November 26, 2021. It will consist of 3 seasons of 8 episodes each, so a total of 24 episodes. The first season of 8 episodes are now all available to stream online, the premiere date of the subsequent two seasons are yet to be confirmed.
The drama is set in the 1980s in Taiwan, so the OST has some cover songs from that era which was originally made famous by the very popular Taiwanese singer, Teresa Teng 鄧麗君. One of her signature songs very well-known throughout the Chinese community around the world, The Moon Represents My Heart 月亮代表我的心, is now covered by Ashin 阿信 (vocalist of Mayday 五月天) as the opening theme song for the soundtrack!

Baker Boys รักของผม…ขนมของคุณ (Thai Series OST)
Baker Boys รักของผม…ขนมของคุณ (Thai name translated literally as My Love…Your Snacks) is a new 12-episode Thai series that will premiere on November 24, 2021. It is based on the Japanese manga series Antique Bakery 西洋骨董洋菓子店 by Yoshinaga Fumi よしなが ふみ. The manga has already been adapted into a live-action Japanese TV series in 2001 and also an Japanese anime series in 2008. A Korean film adaptation, Antique 서양골동양과자점 앤티크 was also released in 2008. This is not a BL series but it does have a gay character as a main protagonist.
