Love at the End of the World (Filipino Webdrama OST)
Love at the End of the World is an upcoming Filipino BL series. No premiere date has been announced yet (Update December 23, 2021: This series will premiere on December 30, 2021) but they have been putting out a lot of teasers lately and it looks like it is not going to be the ubiquitous innocent BL series we are used to, but more an 18+ TV series, or even more closer to a LGBTQ series than a BL series… It is an original series from GagaOOLala but I am not sure if it is part of their 10-film Queer Up The Volume series since they did not tag it as such? Anyway a song has been released from the OST and here it is…

See You After Quarantine? (Taiwanese Webdrama OST) 網絡劇《隔離後見個面，好嗎？》主題曲插曲
See You After Quarantine? 隔離後見個面，好嗎？, or SYAQ, is a new 10-episode BL drama from Taiwan that will premiere on September 17, 2021. It is another Taiwanese (KKTV) and Japanese (Video Market & Rakuten TV) co-production BL series and its Japanese title is 《隔離が終わったら、会いませんか？》. The screenplay was again written by Taiwanese screenwriter/author, Lin Peiyu 林珮瑜, who also penned some of the Taiwanese HIStory BL series and the recent WBL series.

You Are My Glory 你是我的榮耀 is a 32-episode webdrama that premiered on July 26, 2021 and just ended its first run on August 30, 2021. Seriously, another Chinese drama title that started with You Are My…? In the past year or so, we already have You Are My Destiny, then You Are My Hero, and now You Are My Glory??? You would have thought they are sequels or something, but no, just trying to cash in with the title, like the way they used something, something 令 as Chinese title for a lot of historical period costume dramas recently, LOL… To be honest, I haven’t really been paying much attention to Chinese dramas lately and mostly been just reading one BL novel after another the last few weeks, so I need to catch up with a few new dramas’ OST and also lots of new songs being released by some of my favourite singers in the last few weeks!

A Certain Someone or Mou Mou 某某 is a BL novel written by Mù Sū Lǐ 木蘇里. It is a high school campus story involving 2 straight-A students, and almost step-brothers. If you like BL novels like Saye 撒野, or Bloom of Youth 輕狂 by Wū Zhé 巫哲, I think you will enjoy this novel too. Bite Me ส่งร้อนเสิร์ฟรัก is a new 10-episode Thai BL series that will premiere on August 29, 2021. It is based on the novel Grab a Bite ส่งร้อน เสิร์ฟรัก written by Sammon, who is also the author of the novel Manner of Death which was adapted into a TV series that aired late last year.

Sometimes When We Touch (TV OST) 電視劇《超感應學園》主題曲片尾曲
Sometimes When We Touch 超感應學園 is a new campus drama that premiered on August 7, 2021 in Taiwan. What caught my eyes with this drama is the OST, LOL… The opening main theme song is sung by the winner of the best new artist at the 31st Golden Melody Awards 第31屆金曲獎 in Taiwan last year, Chih Siou 持修. The song is actually from his debut album (in case you are wondering, yes, he’s a guy!) released in 2019, and he also sang this song after receiving the award (displaying a sense of humour if you look at the title of the song). The closing theme song is sung by 2 members of the Hong Kong’s Cantopop boy band, MIRROR – Keung To 姜濤 who also starred in this drama and Anson Lo 盧瀚霆 who recently starred in the Hong Kong BL drama, Ossan’s Love 大叔的愛.
