Finally an actual cooking programme from Gordon Ramsay. To be honest, I never really got into his reality series, the nightmare hell kitchens or whatever they are called, which I can never remember. I did however like The F Word which I actually watched, and I religiously followed his newspaper’s column in The Times a few years ago. So I’m actually looking forward to this new travel cookery series from him.
In this new series, Gordon’s Great Escape, a 3-parter to be screened on GEM starting next Monday night, March 21, 2011, at 8:30pm, Gordon embarks on his first ever trip to India to find out more about his favourite cuisine. On UK Channel 4 website, this Indian series is listed as series 1, and in the upcoming series 2, a 4-part series, he will be travelling to South East Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Borneo, and Thailand… hmmm sounds familiar? Didn’t we just enjoy watching Rick Stein’s series in these countries just last year…), so it looks like this may be a continuing series in the future.
