Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars 向流星許願的我們 is a 12-episode Taiwanese fantasy healing BL series which will premiere start on March 26, 2026. It is adapted from the award winning short story The Correct Way to Watch a Meteor Shower 觀看流星的正確方式 by Chung Min-Jui 鍾旻瑞 published in 2019.
Update March 20, 2026: Just found out the series actually premiered as a press preview of the first five episodes on or around March 5, 2026. Then the first two episodes were screened at a Meet-and-Greet event for some fans on March 17, 2026.
There’s a legend on Xingpu Island: if you throw a stone into the sea, your wish may come true. Xian Yong, trapped at the lowest point of his life, makes a desperate wish “to disappear”. The next morning, he wakes up as someone else — a young man named Xiao You, and no one remembers who he used to be. Only his best friend, Wan Zhe, senses that something is wrong and stays by his side, helping him face life again. Meanwhile, Hao Wei — an old friend and Xian Yong’s longtime secret crush — returns to the island and finds himself inexplicably drawn to Xiao You. Update March 26, 2026: The full song from the OST mentioned above has just been released… Also I just found out the singer Chi Yu 齒科護衛隊 (Chi Yu is the English name he used on his social media) is more popularly known as Dr.SNor in English… The second song from the OST by Waji 洪暐哲 has been announced, will update when the full song is available.
