It is based on the novel of the same name published on My Passion. I’ve noticed that vertical shorts are now starting to adapt novels into series rather than the rinse and repeat plots of so many vertical dramas.

Stableboy is a western vertical BL series which will premiere on May 27, 2026 on ReelShort. Get ready for Sky to get Declan to wear some ridiculous skimpy outfits again, LOL… Got to say ReelShort has got some interesting shows coming out at the moment which I have already talked about, like the sequels to Taming My Bullies, and the genie one Djinn Under Contract… There is also another new one about the Master of Magic called Don’t Blink, You’ll Miss It, which sounds like the magician version of the cooking king/queen type of plots, LOL…

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – Pucked by My Hockey Rival
Pucked by My Hockey Rival 被我的冰球對手撞進心裡 is a 32-episode AI animated BL series that dropped around May 6, 2026 (?) on DramaWave. However I have come to realize that with AI series, it is very hard to find the original official source of premiere especially as I believe this is another Chinese animated AI series, and there are pirated copies all over the internet. They have released an OST on a Chinese music platform with music generated by AI too! I was perplexed about whether to make this post under the OST or Random Ramblings heading, but since the music are all AI generated, I have decided that they are not real music with no actual composers or singers, so in the end I have decided to put this under the Random Ramblings heading… However I will provide the links to the OST below for anyone interested…
