The Violet Arena-Under the Doctore is a 30-episode AI animated ancient Roman gladiatorial BL series that dropped on May 15, 2026 on StoReel. I always wanted to say this, “No animals were harmed in the making of this movie,” but unfortunately a few AI animals did expire in the course of creating dramatic scenes!
It is just so incredible that in just the last couple of months, there is an explosion of AI animated BL/LGBTQ+ vertical series being released. At the moment I can’t even keep up with all the new titles appearing constantly out of nowhere. Currently there are more than 10 series on my radar but I just don’t have time to watch them yet. At the moment I have already stopped watching almost all of the Asian BL series and put them aside for later, but I’m still keeping tab on them so I don’t have to look for them in the future. Apart from the ones on the different apps, there are also many YouTube-only AI animated short series. Although the ones on YouTube are usually tamer in plotlines, also sweeter with cuter and more adorable stories, like this adorable boyfriends one, or this new one about Fiancé for Rent, or this brand new one which just shows up with the first episode about Toby & Weston (The school’s Golden Boy × the ultra-smart Nerd). Even this non-BL animals/pets one is so enjoyable to watch. Well, they are just the best thing for now until the next BL series with real actors is released…

Are you referring to the general AI dramas, or specifically just the BL AI dramas? I’m trying to keep track of the BL ones only, and yes I also prefer the fantasy ones, but it is extremely difficult especially there are from so many different apps. I am also relying on the illegal sites as well because they update different new ones daily that I’ve never heard of, LOL… Apart from the ones containing the word Alpha in the title, there are also a few other fantasy BL ones that I haven’t watched yet but the titles do indicate they are fantasy stories… For example Oh Crap! The Billionaire Won’t Let This Little Mushroom Go, & Obsession: My Little Spore, these two seem to be exactly the same story with different titles, also Possession Contract: The Price of Being Kept by the Galactic Commander, and maybe also Frozen Hostility: Igniting Primal Instincts…

haha, yes the BL ones. There’d be WAY too many non-BL AI ones to keep track of. Though personally I love those too, LOL, especially the Reborn theme one where the princess/luna/mermaid/vampire lady is reborn and marries the other brother or the underworld prince because her OG hubby wanted to marry the step sister/cousin lol. It’s the same story line but so fun. I think BL AI also has some that are so similar, especially the doctor/racing story. So many apps have a similar version of it. Surprising.

Haha, talk about the reborn trope, I just watched a BL one with a quad relationship a couple of days ago called I Dumped My Fiancé and Chose His Three Enemies on bilibili… I think there’s another version with the same story called Reborn to Rule: My Three Obsessive Fiancés.

I don’t have bilibili. Where did you find the reborn to rule 3 obsessive? Sounds intriguing. On a side note, have you watched “Double Edged Game”? I’m addicted and have watched it twice lol. I need to find the novel it’s based on! If you have any leads, please pass them along. I’m not Chinese but I’m betting all of these verticals are based on Chinese stories.

Reborn to Rule is on Reel.AI but they have only released 10 eps at the moment. I downloaded Double-Edged Game but haven’t watched it yet. Also I didn’t know it is based on a novel. If I find it I’ll let you know. At the moment there are just too many series on my to-watch list, LOL…
