I don’t even know where to begin with this Chinese AI drama, LOL… First of all there is no English title, the direct translation of the Chinese title 姐夫和校霸 要如何選擇 is How to Choose Between His Brother-in-Law and the School Bully? I’ve shortened it to just His Brother-in-law or the School Bully? for the title for this post… Next I can’t even find any information about the series or if the YouTube version I watched it on is the original platform where it was released! But I doubt it since it said 52 episodes currently on the thumbnail, which means that the series must have been in episodic release from its original platform like the vertical series. With Chinese AI creators currently pumping out AI dramas like there’s no tomorrow, it is impossible to know where all these AI animations came from!
The creator(s) also seemed to have a full on leather fetish, I kid you not, with all the tight clothes… Not only that, several main characters look so similar it was so confusing trying to follow the storyline… The only redeeming feature of the series is that at least the plot is quite unique, BUT oh, quite toxic, especially the red-flag brother-in-law who is a sicko, in my opinion…
Just to clarify about the three main dominant characters who are all muscular, wear tight clothing and look so similar, first the rich kid who is ML’s classmate and he’s in love with ML; then there’s ML’s brother-in-law who rides the motorcycle & ML has a crush on him; and finally there’s ML’s sister’s boss, the business man who harass the sister… I won’t spoil anymore, LOL… Anyway, I also can’t find the official poster, so I took the thumbnail from the video as the poster below… If you want to watch the series, I would advice you to not wait, since I was quite sure there was another same video on YouTube before but I can’t find it anymore…
