Struggling with a marriage issue he can’t tell his mother and rumors from his school days, Jang Ki-woo goes from one contract job interview to another. At Nakwon High School, he meets Lee Hyun-jae, a 21-year-old repeat student and troublemaker covered in bruises.
Everyone warns Ki-woo to ignore Hyun-jae, who is the chairman’s son: “Don’t get involved with him.” Yet, Ki-woo finds himself unable to stop caring about him.
Meanwhile, Hyun-jae realizes he is getting “special treatment” from Ki-woo — the only person who asks how he truly feels. To keep Ki-woo’s attention, Hyun-jae intentionally hurts himself. Then, he spots an anonymous chat app, “Anyone”, on Ki-woo’s phone and deliberately starts a conversation…
