I really enjoyed Simon Hopkinson’s first TV series, The Good Cook, when ABC aired the show a couple of years ago. So it was with delight I chanced upon his new series which has just been shown in the UK. Browsing though the Channel 4 website, it seems the six episodes are organised into 5-course lunch or dinner such as A Classic Lunch, A Continental Supper and A Sunday Roast, which are very handy indeed. I also like the fact that the recipes are mostly classics rather than the current fad, so they are really worth keeping. The recipes from all six episodes are now available. Hopefully ABC picks up the series and shows it here soon.
