Food Safari is back after a 3-year hiatus! The seventh instalment of this fantastic programme starts tonight, Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 8pm on SBS ONE (Channel 3 or HD on Channel 30) with Food Safari Fire. By the way, it will be preceded by the first airing of the 2014 series from Rachel Khoo – Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook: London at 7:30pm.
Previously with 4 series of the original Food Safari (the last one in 2013), and two spin-offs of French and Italian Food Safari, this new series will focus on how cultures across the world cook with fire. Host Maeve O’Meara returns to learn the secrets to grilling, smoking, roasting and baking from some of Australia’s top chefs, cooks and barbecue devotees in this new 10-part series.
