The Boy Next World: My Destiny | The Boy Next World ～並行世界の恋人～ is a 10-episode Japanese BL series that premiered with its first episode during the fan focused event BN (BossNoeul) PARALLEL IN TOKYO on January 12, 2026 in Japan. It started its official broadcast on February 1, 2026 in Japan as well as internationally. It is a remake of Thai series The Boy Next World คนละกาลเวลา from 2025 and similarly adapted from the Thai novel of the same name by MAME.
Fu Yotsuba, a college student with zero dating experience, lives an ordinary campus life until one day, the popular senior Sara Kogami suddenly appears and declares himself to be Fu’s lover from a parallel world. Caught off guard by a confession from someone he has barely spoken to yet who knows everything about him, Fu gradually finds himself drawn to Sara’s gentle but unwavering gaze. However, a cruel question lingers in his heart: will Sara truly fall in love with this version of him? As love from two worlds begins to overlap, can a romance that transcends time and space find its true destination?
