After watching the Taiwanese drama HIStory 3 – Make Our Days Count recently (still traumatized by the last episode which was so heart wrenching to watch!), I started to check out other BL dramas online… What the heck, there are so many from Thailand and Taiwan, where have I been?

I did not realize these two Asian countries are so open-minded about LGBT themed dramas, LOL… OK, Taiwan is the first Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Anyway, I started to watch the current ones from Thailand which are 2gether and Why R U?… 2gether is OK, a bit of silly fun in this testing time, Why R U? has a better story line but still a lot of fan service scenes, and both dramas are still currently on-going. One thing I like about these dramas is that they are more like mini-series, usually around 10 – 20 episodes each, so there is a beginning and an end to the story, and no dragging on like a lot of western dramas that went on and on with no ending in sight! Also, thank goodness to all the fans who did the English or Chinese subtitles online so we can all watch the series, thank you!
I also checked out a couple of older Thai dramas that have been high on recommendation online, namely Together with Me (2017) and TharnType (2019). Both are not disappointing at all, with intriguing endings! Together with Me is actually the second season and prequel to Bad Romance (2016) and then there is the third season Together with Me: The Next Chapter (2018). Since I have no idea Together with Me was a prequel to Bad Romance at first, I went back and checked out Bad Romance after I finished watching Together with Me, LOL, the actors looked so much younger even though they are supposed to be older in Bad Romance, I watched part of the first episode and stopped because the 3 key characters suddenly have brand new friends who were not in the prequel, instead jumped forward to Together with Me: The Next Chapter which I am in the middle of watching currently. Although I have to say so far from the episodes I have watched, The Next Chapter is not as good or engaging, the characters seems to be off compared to the original Together with Me. The strong characters in the original series have been softened so as they are difficult to believe. Anyway as I was looking for the next episodes to watch, YouTube recommended these behind the scenes videos of the two leads in Together with Me visiting Taiwan, two very down to earth young men, so I thought I would share it here as there are 11 short videos… Yes, I know, this was from December 2018, but hey, better something heart warming and fun to watch at this time when everyone is being forced to be stuck at home…
