Hmm, is it just me or, season 2 is not as engaging? I found myself fast-forwarding through a lot of scenes from ep 2 and also ep 3… The gorgeous cinematography of colours is not there anymore! It has lost that shine and tight storylines of season 1, and at this point I don’t even care if they break up, and Jai and Teh can be together for all I care, LOL…
Update June 28, 2021: Just went and had a look at Douban’s ratings now that all 5 episodes have aired, oh dear, I guess many viewers have the same feeling as I have, season 2 is not that good. It has only 4.7/10 ratings there from 61,428 votes as of today. Season 1 still has 9.3/10 ratings from 170,869 viewers’ votes. That’s a drop of 50% from season 1.
