OK, I must admit I gave up on watching season 1 of Call It What You Want 戀愛無名氏 after 3 episodes due to the plot being told so slowly it sent me to sleep, LOL… I know they have good intention of showing us what happens behind the scenes of the BL industry, but like many BL shows, the plots are usually simple yet they told it in such a way that it drags along without anything much happening for most of the time, just a lot of fan-service scenes. So you might be asking, why am I bothering with the upcoming Season 2 now? Well, it is because of the OST!
Yesterday, they released the OST song on YouTube sung in Chinese first, before the Thai version is released! It is unusual in that the song is not sung by a Thai singer, but by the lead singer of the Taiwanese band, Bestards 理想混蛋, so there is no Thai accent in pronunciation which happens a lot when Thai dramas decided on giving us Chinese songs sung by Thai singers. Nothing wrong with that, but the song sometimes gets confusing when certain words are pronounced slightly off. The same thing happens a lot to mainland Chinese singers too when they tried to sing English songs, LOL… Anyway, the song here is called Sensitive, but the Chinese title is 當我們的手勇敢緊握, which translated as When Our Hands Hold Tight Bravely. The Thai version of the song will premiere on July 9, 2021.
