New cover song from Singaporean singer, Kelly Poon 潘嘉麗. A song that will tug at your heartstrings. The song was originally written after the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, and was only ever released online by a Singaporean amateur singer, Lavigne 簡靖紋, in or around 2005 (?).
I have never heard the original online version until today, but apparently it was quite popular in the cyber world at the time due to a number of urban legends associated with the song as it was used a lot as a BGM online by fans of the song but many people did not know who the singer was. In 2009, it was finally revealed that the singer was Lavigne, and all the stories were not true and only made up by fans of the song due to the sad lyrics like this line, “For the very last time before I close my eyes, I want to tell you I love You.”
