Mom, Don’t Do That! 媽，別鬧了！ is a new 11-episode Taiwanese romcom series premiering today, July 15, 2022. It is based on a true story written into a short novel, 我媽的異國婚姻, published in 2018 about a 60-year-old widow who decides to find love again — to the joy and annoyance of her two daughters. The opening theme song (Update: Oops! This song is not from the OST, but a new single released on the same day! See update below…) is a remix of an old song from 1984 sung by Billie Wang 比莉 (王雪娥) who is also the actress playing the lead role of the mom in this new series. This new version of the song is remixed and produced by her real-life son, Nick Chou 周湯豪, a.k.a. NICKTHEREAL.
The audio version of the song was just uploaded a couple of hours ago, and the official MV will premiere at noon Taiwan time today…

Update July 16, 2022: LOL, got confused with the theme song above! The remix of 什麼都不必說 is not the theme song, instead it is the new single released on the same day as the series! The opening theme song is not available yet, but it is also sung by Billie Wang and composed and written by her son Nick, hence the confusion. The closing theme song is sung by Eric Chou 周興哲, who is not related to Nick, and also not available yet. In the meantime, here are two more classics used in the OST…
