Love is Right (Korean Web Music Drama)
LOVE is RIGHT is a new South Korean BL web music drama which premiered on October 17, 2022. As far as I can figure it out, there will be 4 mini episodes and basically each episode is just a music video with minimal dialogue, and the first song from the first episode will have 4 language versions, in original Korean, Thai, Chinese and Indonesian, and I assume it will be the same for the other 3 upcoming episodes.

You Are On My Mind 你在我心上 is an upcoming Taiwanese movie that will premiere in Taiwan on October 21, 2022. It is adapted from the novel 國語推行員 (may be translated as National Language Promoter) by online novelist Tsai Jhi-Heng 蔡智恆(penname 痞子蔡). The theme song has just been released and it is sung by the lead actor Bryant Chang.

We are just over three quarters of the year into 2022, and with so many Thai BL series being aired this year, it’s hard to keep up or choose which series to watch. So I have put together a list of the most highly rated Thai BL and LGBTQ+ series that have received at least an 8/10 from either MyDramaList or Douban豆瓣 as of the time of this post. I may have missed some series but these are the best rated Thai BL series (including series that are not proper BL but with LGBTQ+ theme) that have aired from January to mid-October this year…

Hi, Come In 《嗨！營業中》 (Taiwanese Reality TV OST)
Hi, Come In 嗨！營業中 is a new Taiwanese reality TV show that premiered on October 1, 2022. It is actually the continuation of Let’s Open 來吧！營業中 from earlier this year with most of the same cast. The change with the name was due to conceptual disagreement between the production house and the TV broadcaster after season 1 of Let’s Open and basically split the show in two – one is Hi, Come In from the original production company for a different network to air with all original cast members except one, and the other is Let’s Open season 2 to be produced in-house from the original broadcaster, TVBS, with one original cast member Johnny Yang 楊銘威 since he is the only one contracted with the broadcaster and can’t join the others.

Big Dragon มังกรกินใหญ่ is a new 8-episode Thai BL series that will premiere on October 8, 2022. Interesting that they are also giving it an official Chinese title, 龍月, translated as Dragon Moon. It is adapted from the novel of the same name มังกรกินใหญ่ by Aiden N Vivienne. I read somewhere that apparently the novel is just porn with not much plotlines, LOL, but the series is getting a big hype so I don’t know what to make of it. The theme song is already out so here it is…

Women in Taipei 台北女子圖鑑 (Taiwanese Series OST)
Women in Taipei 台北女子圖鑑 is a new 11-episode Taiwanese drama series that premiered on September 21, 2022. It is adapted from the Japanese TV series Tokyo Girl 東京女子図鑑 (Tôkyô Joshi Zukan) that aired in 2016 – 2017, which in terms was based on the yonkoma manga of the same name serialized in the Japanese magazine Tokyo Calendar 東京カレンダー. There are 10 songs from the OST consisting of mostly new songs with a few old classics.
