After SEA You Soon 飄洋過海來看你 from a couple of years ago, here’s a new song written to campaign for the legalization of same sex unions between Taiwanese and foreign nationals from countries that ban the practice.
The song is co-written and sung by Neville Sun 孫東旭 based on his past experience. Neville is also a gay pornstar which I wasn’t aware of until I read articles in Taiwanese media about the song! You might also remember him as the tattoo guy from the BL series Light 小光. The director and screenplay writer of the MV is also known for her directions in Taiwanese BL series, Adiamond Lee 李佳樺, which includes Light 小光 , HIStory: Obsessed 著魔 and Dark Blue and Moonlight 深藍與月光. The actor who plays opposite Neville in the MV is Vincent Lin 林禹, known for his role in last year’s Love is Science? 戀愛是科學.
