Marry My Dead Body 關於我和鬼變成家人的那件事 is an upcoming Taiwanese supernatural black comedy movie that will have its general theatre release next year on February 10, 2023 in Taiwan. However it just has its premiere as the closing film during the 2022 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival 金馬國際影展 last month on November 17, 2022. It has a sort of LGBTQ+ theme as it is all about the rare Chinese tradition of a spirit marriage 冥婚, in the case of this movie between a man and a male ghost. The theme song has just been released and is sung by Jolin Tsai 蔡依林 and she co-composed the music for the song… And yes the official English title of the song is called “Untitled” although the Chinese title 親愛的對象 can be translated roughly as “My Dear Other-Half” because there’s no equivalence for 對象 in English that I can think of… it means a person of target for or to do something or in relationship term a person that could become a future boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife… From what I’ve read, the MV is a prequel to the movie depicting the ghost when he was alive…
