A Balloon’s Landing 我在這裡等你 (Chinese title means I’ll Wait Here for You) is a Taiwanese film that will premiere on May 10, 2024 in Taiwan. With two male leads, and with ambiguous teasers, it’s difficult to tell if it will just be a movie about bromance, or soulmates, or BL? Whatever it is, it’s already a hotly anticipated film from all accounts…
Here I Wait 我在原地等你 (theme song) – HUSH
Update May 12, 2024: Oh dear, apparently the film is not very good according to early reviews, it’s basically a road trip movie and the plot is all over the place with not much logic. It is also more a soulmates relationship trying to make it looks like BL, LOL! Anyway here’s an old Cantonese song by the late Leslie Cheung used in the movie. Leslie recorded 2 versions of the song in 1999 but only one version was chosen to be released. In 2020, the record company was going to release a compilation album of Leslie and found the other version that wasn’t released back then and used this unreleased version for the compilation album… It obviously hasn’t got an English title in 1999, so it’s just a direct translation of the Chinese title 春夏秋冬, Spring Summer Autumn Winter, or Four Seasons. However when they released the other version in 2020, they officially gave its English title as A Balloon’s Journey. Suspiciously the film English title is very similar, so they must have got inspiration from this song’s title…

Update December 1, 2024: Three more songs from the OST…
