Here we go again! Another Chinese BL series bites the dust within hours of dropping the first four episodes online. Blue Canvas of Youthful Days 路過我年少時光的藍色 is a 12-episode Chinese BL series which premiered on August 5, 2024, but was pulled very soon after just 4 episodes went to air. I am just amazed they kept repeating the same mistakes of trying to air BL series through the international branch of Chinese owned media company knowing darn well China does not tolerate BL series! At least more and more other smarter producers are circumventing China this year by producing/making “Chinese” BL series outside China for international audiences only.
Anyway let’s move on to the OST for this series. I am actually surprised there is an OST because the Chinese BL series made for international markets only in the last couple of years from the small independent producers did not have (enough budget for) an OST. However they probably will not release the songs on international platforms like YouTube or other international streaming platforms. There are 6 songs on the OST…

Update August 20, 2024: This is interesting, Drama Box YouTube channel has just released a 4-minute official trailer for this drama just a few days ago with the theme song, almost like it’s the MV for the theme song. Does this mean they have bought the rights to release this drama internationally very soon?
