Who else are enjoying The Apothecary Diaries season 2 at the moment? I love this anime series so much! We are up to episode 6 of season 2 at the moment and wow, this episode is just epic! Reading the light novel is one thing, but seeing how they turn it into anime action is up another level… Next week we will finally see the episode focusing on the emperor, since we’ve seen very little of him so far. Can’t wait! Apart from watching the anime, I am also watching the little mini theatres of chibi MaoMao’s giving us little trivia which are also very funny…
Crunchyroll is also releasing highlight of each episode, called The Apothecary Diaries Moments if you just want to rewatch the highlight. The chibi MaoMao’s monologues (Maomao no Hitorigoto) released by TOHO animation are in Japanese only, but luckily YouTube now has the closed caption setting, which is the icon just left of the settings icon. However you have to watch on YouTube (if you watch the embedded videos here on this page, it doesn’t seem to work, only Japanese subtitle, LOL…) and turn the closed caption icon on, and it will have the AI translation into English. It is good enough to understand the dialogues even if sometimes it is still weird, but you get the gist… I will just embed the first 6 episodes here, then I will just provide the links from episode 7 onwards.
