Runaway Billionaire Becomes My Groom is a 77-episode American vertical drama series which started streaming first from January 7, 2025 on, apparently, the Sereal app (?), but the series can be found on quite a number of different app currently. I just finished watching it yesterday and, SHOCK, HORROR, this vertical series actually made sense! Not saying it is perfect, since there are still a couple of glaring plot holes that I noticed immediately, and the tropey high-class low-class plotlines; it is still way better than most vertical series.
I have been watching about one or two vertical series nearly every week for the past few months… Yes, I have fallen into the rabbit holes of vertical series, and let me say many of them are just crazy and hilarious with zero logic to the plots. I can say more than 90% of the vertical series have no re-watch value at all, only a handful that I will happily re-watch again, including this one. A couple of toxic family dramas I’ve watched just dialed up the toxicity to the max for at least 3/4 of the drama just to show how dimwitted the antagonists are, so we can get the “satisfactory” payback storyline at the end, LOL… All I can say is, as I watched I cracked myself up asking why bothered with such toxic family? Wink, wink, hello, yes, I’m talking about Queen Mom Rules! However in the end they are still escapism to the drudgery of everyday life. All these verticals are easy to watch because they are about the length of a movie in full and you don’t have to wait for weekly new episodes which is a bonus, so they can be watched at your leisure, also they are mostly very hilarious. Although I have to admit some series are really just too toxic to watch, and suitable for responsible adults only! That said, as an adult, those free-to-watch teasers are good in a way of determining if the drama is interesting enough for me to continue watching or not; if not, easy, drop that one and go on, find another one… Which is how I found this one from one of the YouTube recommendations.

Shhh… don’t tell anyone, you can watch the full series of Runaway Billionaire Becomes My Groom for free on SnackShort YouTube channel! Yes, believe it or not, some of the vertical series released more than a few months ago are available for free on some of these official channels. How long they will be for free, I can’t say, but watch it now before it is no longer free to watch, LOL… Also just be aware that some longer videos on these official channels look like they are the full series, but they are not as some episodes are left out here and there in between, especially those ones that are about 45 to 60 minutes long…
