Hsu Chuan, who works at a VR game company, accidentally brings home a damaged clay doll from a haunted house while developing a new horror VR game. Unexpectedly, his pregnant wife, Mu Hua, a cultural relic conservator, becomes obsessed with it and continues to restore it. As strange events continue to occur in the family, Mu Hua becomes increasingly frail. With no other options left, Hsu Chuan seeks help from a psychic exorcist, A Sheng.
