Single mother Yi-An has raised her twin daughters alone. The older twin, Cassie, is sweet and charismatic — at just five years old, she and her mom became internet-famous as a popular mommy-daughter influencer duo. Meanwhile, her younger sister Lily is shy and introverted.
Now a teenager, Cassie is tired of living her life online and refuses to continue. As their follower count drops, Yi-An hatches a plan to stage Cassie’s ”disappearance” to stir up public interest. But what was meant to be a fake crisis turns into a real kidnapping.
The kidnapper demands that Yi-An go live and convince the internet she’s a worthy mother — leaving it up to the anonymous cruelty of online voters to decide the fate of Yi-An and her daughters.
