From Here On, We’re More Than Just Childhood Friends ここから先は幼なじみ以上です is a 30-episode Japanese vertical BL series that dropped on January 28, 2026 on a few apps, including POPCORN, FANY :D, BUMP and mov. It is adapted from the light novel of the same name by Moto モト. Note that there is no official English title for this drama that I can find, the English title I’ve used here is just a direct translation of the Japanese title.
Nanami, a high school freshman, is a caring and innocent boy. His daily routine is to look after his childhood friend, Kairi, who is popular with his neighbors. One day, Kairi suddenly confesses, “Will you go out with me?”…?! At first, Nanami thinks he misheard, but it turns out he’s serious. After years of suppressing his desires, Kairi launches a fierce attack…?! Kairi’s straightforward words, “There’s no way I could let you go,” and “I can’t think of anyone other than Nanami,” send Nanami’s embarrassment into overdrive!?
