Kung Fu 功夫 is an upcoming Taiwanese martial arts fantasy film which will premiere on February 13, 2026 in Taiwan and Singapore. It is based on director Giddens Ko 九把刀’s own novel of the same name first published online in 2001 and later published as a novel in 2004. The novel is one of the City Fear 都市恐怖病 series of 7 novels by Giddens.
Two loser high school students meet a wandering old man with unparalleled martial arts skills. Together, they not only strive to restore justice to their city but also unravel the mystery of the old man’s identity.
