Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars 向流星許願的我們 is a 12-episode Taiwanese fantasy healing BL series which will premiere on March 26, 2026. It is adapted from the award winning short story The Correct Way to Watch a Meteor Shower 觀看流星的正確方式 by Chung Min-Jui 鍾旻瑞 published in 2019.
There’s a legend on Xingpu Island: if you throw a stone into the sea, your wish may come true. Xian Yong, trapped at the lowest point of his life, makes a desperate wish “to disappear”. The next morning, he wakes up as someone else — a young man named Xiao You, and no one remembers who he used to be. Only his best friend, Wan Zhe, senses that something is wrong and stays by his side, helping him face life again. Meanwhile, Hao Wei — an old friend and Xian Yong’s longtime secret crush — returns to the island and finds himself inexplicably drawn to Xiao You.
