Big Dragon มังกรกินใหญ่ is a new 8-episode Thai BL series that will premiere on October 8, 2022. Interesting that they are also giving it an official Chinese title, 龍月, translated as Dragon Moon. It is adapted from the novel of the same name มังกรกินใหญ่ by Aiden N Vivienne. I read somewhere that apparently the novel is just porn with not much plotlines, LOL, but the series is getting a big hype so I don’t know what to make of it. Women in Taipei 台北女子圖鑑 is a new 11-episode Taiwanese drama series that premiered on September 21, 2022. It is adapted from the Japanese TV series Tokyo Girl 東京女子図鑑 (Tôkyô Joshi Zukan) that aired in 2016 – 2017, which in terms was based on the yonkoma manga of the same name serialized in the Japanese magazine Tokyo Calendar 東京カレンダー. There are 10 songs from the OST consisting of mostly new songs with a few old classics.
KabeKoji 壁こじ, or its full title Kabe Sa Dōjin Sakka no Nekoyashiki-kun wa Shōnin Yokkyū o Kojiraseteiru 壁サー同人作家の猫屋敷くんは承認欲求をこじらせている (translated as Doujinshi Author Nekoyashiki is Aggravated by His Desire for Approval) is new 10-episode Japanese BL series that will premiere just after the midnight hours of October 3, 2022 (or early hours of October 4, 2022). It is adapted from the manga by Minamoto Kazuki ミナモトカズキ.
To Sir, With Love คุณชาย (Khun Chai) is a new 10-episode (??? updated to 17 episodes?) Thai-style soap opera (lakorn) which will premiere on October 3, 2022. It is a lakorn with LGBTQ+ theme but not necessarily a proper BL series as I think it will be more a soap-opera-type drama with an ensemble cast like last year’s House of the Dark Shadows.
Once Again 다시 나를 찾아와 is a new 8-episode South Korean BL series that premiered on September 15, 2022. There are 4 tracks from the OST of which one track is just an instrumental. At the moment only two songs are available in full on YouTube but they have put out a highlight medley video of the OST.
Season 4 of Singing with Legends 我們的歌 premiered on September 25, 2022. Interesting to hear the announcement at the beginning of the first episode that this TV format has been sold to a few European countries with the Spanish version Dúos Increíbles the first to start airing from September 29, 2022!

Love Between Fairy and Devil 蒼蘭訣 is a 36-episode Chinese Xianxia drama series that premiered on August 7, 2022. It is adapted from the webnovel 魔尊 by 九鷺非香. According to reports, this drama series has swiftly become the fourth drama series on iQiyi streaming platform to receive over 10,000 points in popularity stakes calculated based on data collected from viewers’ reviews, voting, etc. The first 3 shows to receive over 10,000 popularity points on iQiyi previously were 2018’s Story of Yanxi Palace 延禧攻略, 2021’s My Heroic Husband 贅婿, & 2022’s A Lifelong Journey 人世間 from earlier this year, and currently Love Between Fairy and Devil 蒼蘭訣 is already sitting in second spot in popularity just behind My Heroic Husband 贅婿.
Love in The Air บรรยากาศรัก is a 13-episode Thai BL series that premiered on August 18, 2022. It is adapted from the two novels by MAME, Love Storm พายุรักโถมใจ and Love Sky พระพายหมายฟ้า. MAME’s other books have also been previously adapted into two popular BL TV series, Love by Chance and TharnType. Currently Love in The Air is already getting good ratings of 8.3 on MDL and 8.2 on Douban respectively with just 5 episodes into the broadcast.
Guillaume’s Paris is a new travel cooking series that will premiere tonight, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 7:30pm on SBS, SBS Food and streaming on SBS On Demand with the first two episodes, with single episodes each Thursday after that.

More Than Words モアザンワーズ is a new 10-episode Japanese BL series that premiered on September 16, 2022. It is based on the two manga series More Than Words モアザンワーズ and IN THE APARTMENT by Etsuko 絵津鼓. There are 4 songs from the OST and so far only 3 songs are available, I’ll add the fourth song when it is released.
