Zhan Zhao Adventures 雨霖鈴 is a 37-episode Chinese wuxia drama series which premiered on May 13, 2026. It is adapted from the webnovel Yu Lin Ling 雨霖鈴 (translated as Bells Ringing in the Rain, the term was from a tune originated from the Tang Dynasty Imperial Music Bureau 唐代教坊曲) by minifish 小魚, which is a fanfic reinterpretation and reiteration of the classic 1879 Chinese martial arts novel, The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants 七俠五義. If you think the two main protagonists, Zhan Zhao 展昭 and Bai Yutang 白玉堂, sound familiar, it is because they both appear as BL characters in two series of BL webnovels by Er Ya 耳雅, both series are also reinterpretation of the same classic novel – S.C.I. Mystery Series ＳＣＩ謎案集 (series adaptation in 2018) which is the modern reinterpretation (currently 6 volumes), while Dragon Pattern Scroll Set 龍圖案卷集 is the historical reinterpretation (currently 3 volumes).

Blood River 暗河傳 (Chinese Series OST)
Blood River 暗河傳 (Ànhé Zhuàn* direct translation is Tales of Dark River) is a 38-episode Chinese wuxia series which premiered on October 20, 2025. It is adapted from the webnovel of the same name by Zhou Mu Nan 周木楠. Two of the author’s other novels in the same series have already been adapted into drama series previously – Dashing Youth 少年白馬醉春風 in 2024 (prequel to Blood River), and The Blood of Youth 少年歌行 in 2022 (sequel to Blood River). There is also another sequel The Blood of Youth Season 2 少年歌行之南明離火 yet to come.
* Note: 傳 here is a noun, so it should be pronounced as zhuàn, NOT chuán! I’ve seen a few sites romanized the Chinese title as Anhe Chuan which is incorrect.

According to reports, this drama series has swiftly become the fourth drama series on iQiyi streaming platform to receive over 10,000 points in popularity stakes calculated based on data collected from viewers’ reviews, voting, etc. The first 3 shows to receive over 10,000 popularity points on iQiyi previously were 2018’s Story of Yanxi Palace 延禧攻略, 2021’s My Heroic Husband 贅婿, & 2022’s A Lifelong Journey 人世間 from earlier this year, and currently Love Between Fairy and Devil 蒼蘭訣 is already sitting in second spot in popularity just behind My Heroic Husband 贅婿.
