Just heard some songs from this new TV series, To Dear Myself 親愛的自己, and love the closing credits song which is also the main theme song sung by Zhu Yilong 朱一龍 who also starred in the series. Well, you would remember him from the series, Guardian 鎮魂, from 2018 if you have watched that series. There is also an interesting name involved in post-production on some of the songs, namely Ayanga 阿雲嘎, who is known more as a theactrical actor and singer. There are only audio versions of the 4 songs so far, will add full MV if they release them in the future.

It has been a busy couple of months for BL drama fans! There are so many BL series going on at the moment, from Thailand of course (at least 4 series airing at the moment that I know of), but also from South Korea with “Mr. Heart” and also from the Philippines with “My Day: The Series” and “Quaranthings: The Series”! This is another new BL series from Japan, The Reason Why He Fell in Love with Me 彼が僕に戀した理由(ワケ), which premiered on August 9, 2020, with only 4 episodes. This is the theme song sung by one of the lead actors.

Yet another new BL webdrama! This one is from South Korea, Mr. Heart (心動先生／匆匆心動), with only 8 episodes of about 10 minutes each. This is the OST song sung by Kim Jae Joong 金在中 titled Even Though I Called (即使呼喚你), also translated as Even If I Called. Only the audio version is available on YouTube at the moment. I have also linked to another unofficial video with English lyrics included and also some teaser/trailer videos of the drama below.

Theme song to Thai BL series, My Gear and Your Gown, which is airing at the moment. My Gear and Your Gown (เกียร์สีขาวกับกาวน์สีฝุ่น – I’ve added episode links below) is one of the four Thai BL dramas I am following at the moment, and I am also reading Chinese BL novels currently. What a big contrast with storylines from Thai BL and Chinese BL, haha… Thai BL are all sweet and innocent, while the Chinese BL novels I’ve just finished reading in the past 2 or 3 months (撒野 Saye, 格格不入 Gegeburu – Out of Place, 大哥 Dage – Big Brother) all have terrible, sad beginnings, then heartbreaking storylines and then you cried and laughed all the way to a happy ending!

Just Friend? เพื่อนเธอ (“Love by Chance 2: A Chance to Love” TV Theme Song) – Boy Sompob
So many new Thai BL TV series being broadcast currently. I am getting a bit dizzy, LOL… Apart from Love by Chance 2: A Chance to Love, I am also watching So Much in Love, Oxygen, and just waiting to watch the first episode of My Gear and Your Gown which just went online today, but no English subtitles as yet. (Update September 15, 2020: Haha, last night no Eng sub, but this morning Eng sub already added, so fast, can start watching today!) At least I know the characters in Love by Chance 2 (but they re-wrote the TinCan storyline by shifting the time of their first meeting which confused me), but the other 3 are all brand new series, so trying to remember the faces of actors and their character names are doing my head in, hahaha… Anyway this is the theme song from Love by Chance 2, but it is only the lyrics version at the moment, hopefully a full MV will be released soon.

Wok vs Pot with Marion Grasby and Silvia Colloca
This is a new TV series from Thai-Australian MasterChef Australia favourite from Season 2, Marion Grasby and Italian expat, Silvia Colloca, called Wok vs Pot. This series features dishes from Thai and Italian cuisines and was originally released on YouTube in 2018, but has now been put together into 3 episodes on SBS. I did not realise it was on until last week, LOL. However all cooking segments from 2018 are available on YouTube which I have also added below.
