The Apothecary Diaries 2: MaoMao’s Monologues
Who else are enjoying The Apothecary Diaries season 2 at the moment? I love this anime series so much! We are up to episode 6 of season 2 at the moment and wow, this episode is just epic! Reading the light novel is one thing, but seeing how they turn it into anime action is up another level… Next week we will finally see the episode focusing on the emperor, since we’ve seen very little of him so far. Can’t wait! Apart from watching the anime, I am also watching the little mini theatres of chibi MaoMao’s giving us little trivia which are also very funny…

Minuscule
Minuscule is a French animated and live-action shorts that began airing in 2006. The funny shorts are animated stylized insects superimposed over real life rural French countryside. I was introduced to the series when ABC TV used to air the shorts as fillers between shows years ago. I have almost forgotten about this series until I chanced upon it on YouTube again a couple of years ago. They haven’t updated any new videos for a few years until a couple of days ago with a new compilation. These animations are really hilarious with all the shenanigans, and fights between insects. Desired by My Unknown Husband is a 60-episode British short-form BL drama series on DramaBox which started streaming on December 31, 2024.
