The full series is about the length of a film, so in some press releases it is also indicated as a film… The final episode, Episode 7, was released a few days ago, but there will be more epilogue episodes to follow, apparently 13 episodes altogether, with the first epilogue episode just uploaded yesterday. The series is free to watch on YouTube. The beautiful countryside sceneries, summer mood, cycling, swimming plotlines, and the fruit (lychees) do remind me of a certain LGBTQ+ film from a few years ago set in the summery Italian countryside which has peaches featured, what is it called? Call Me … Name, LOL…

It took nearly three years but finally it has started airing in Taiwan as a series from March 16, 2025. The series is adapted from the Korean manhwa Would You Like a Cup of Coffee? 커피 한잔 할까요? by Huh Young-Man 허영만 and Lee Ho-Joon 이호준 with illustration by Huh Young-Man 허영만. In 2021, there was also a 12-episode live-action Korean adaptation, Would You Like a Cup of Coffee? 커피 한잔 할까요?
