From the maker of Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island 荔枝樹下熱烈島 comes a new series for 2026. A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills’ Dream 寒陽風起春山境 is a 16-episode Chinese BL series which will drop on June 12, 2026 with the first four episodes. The promos kept saying that it is based on a novel but for the life of me, I can’t find any information about the novel, LOL… I think what they meant was that the novel is actually the script?

Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island 荔枝樹下熱烈島 (Chinese Series OST)

Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island 荔枝樹下熱烈島 is a 7-episode Chinese BL series which premiered (internationally only) on March 3, 2025. The full series is about the length of a film, so in some press releases it is also indicated as a film… The final episode, Episode 7, was released a few days ago, but there will be more epilogue episodes to follow, apparently 13 episodes altogether, with the first epilogue episode just uploaded yesterday. The series is free to watch on YouTube. The beautiful countryside sceneries, summer mood, cycling, swimming plotlines, and the fruit (lychees) do remind me of a certain LGBTQ+ film from a few years ago set in the summery Italian countryside which has peaches featured, what is it called? Call Me … Name, LOL…
