The Relentless 俯衝的靈魂 – Power Station 動力火車 & JJ Lin 林俊傑
During a Power Station‘s concert in Taipei last year where JJ Lin was a surprise guest, they joked and talked about a collaboration in the future. Well, it has now happened, JJ fulfilled his promise and composed this new song for Power Station and getting prominent Taiwanese lyricist Daryl Yao 姚若龍 to write the lyrics for the new song. On first listen, I already liked it so much!

Song of Momentary Regret 短恨歌 – Sen 陳凡騏
This is a song I’ve been listening to a lot recently, a very melodic song which is very reminiscent of the typical theme songs written for the Chinese palace or wuxia period dramas, although it’s not. It’s written and sung by Sen Chen 陳凡騏, a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and also a former adult entertainer. The title of the song, Song of Momentary Regret 短恨歌 is evidently a homage to or inspired by the famous Tang Dynasty narrative poem, Song of Everlasting Sorrow 長恨歌 (also known as Song of Everlasting Regret) written by the Chinese poet Bai Juyi 白居易 in 806 AD.
