Apart from Thai BL dramas, I am also currently watching the “NOT BL” comedy series, I’m Tee, Me Too, starring 3 BL couples from SOTUS, Dark Blue Kiss, and Theory of Love. Off and Gun both starred in Theory of Love (2019), and also currently in I’m Tee, Me Too (2020). This is their new single, Too Cute to Handle, which has just been released. Thai’s TV series producers certainly know how to promote their CP stars, haha…

Animal Whisper (TV Theme Songs) 電視劇《黑喵知情》主題曲片尾曲插曲
This is a new 14-episode Taiwanese TV series which started airing on August 2, 2020. The English name is Animal Whisper which does not sound quite right, LOL… I think it should be Animal Whisperer as the series is about communicating with pet animals.

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas (Part 4) – Teasers & Trailers
There are more Thai BL dramas being released for the last quarter of the year. So I’ll update trailers here for shows premiering in the coming weeks as well as those for 2021 (see Part 5 for more updates of 2021’s series). In the last few months, the Philippines is another country putting out quite a few BL series in a short period of time, I’ve also added trailers for 3 of the Filipino BL series that are currently airing right now at the end of this post, plus another Japanese BL that has just started airing… I will also update BL series from other countries as well.

I am Alive – JJ Lin 林俊傑 & Jason Mraz 傑森瑪耶茲
Digging into the old music videos again after my last post, LOL… This song was a collaboration between JJ Lin and Jason Mraz from 2015. The song came about after Jason performed with JJ at the 25th Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan in 2014 and decided to collaborate on a song together. I have also included their 2014’s GMA perfomances below.

To Dear Myself (TV Theme Songs) 電視劇《親愛的自己》主題片尾曲插曲
Just heard some songs from this new TV series, To Dear Myself 親愛的自己, and love the closing credits song which is also the main theme song sung by Zhu Yilong 朱一龍 who also starred in the series. Well, you would remember him from the series, Guardian 鎮魂, from 2018 if you have watched that series. There is also an interesting name involved in post-production on some of the songs, namely Ayanga 阿雲嘎, who is known more as a theactrical actor and singer. There are only audio versions of the 4 songs so far, will add full MV if they release them in the future.

【WUMAI烘焙小教室】Taiwanese Yolk Mooncakes 蛋黃酥
This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival falls on October 1, 2020, which is tomorrow. So it is just the right time to make mooncakes at home. This is the easiest mooncakes to try at home, the classic Taiwanese mooncakes with red bean paste filling and a salted egg yolk inside, resembling the moon. Taiwanese mooncakes is different from the widely available Cantonese mooncakes which is much more difficult to make at home. Taiwanese mooncakes use the Chinese flaky pastry which I have written about before, but here you can see the actual demonstration of it.
