Gray Shelter 회색기류 is a 5-episode Korean BL series that premiered on April 11, 2024. However this is not the first Korean BL series released this year, as far as I know, there have been 5 series from South Korea (Happy Ending 해피엔딩, Love for Love’s Sake 연애 지상주의 구역, Jazz for Two 재즈처럼, Please Teach Me 가르쳐주세요, Love is Like A Cat 사랑은 고양이처럼) released earlier this year, or currently airing but I haven’t done any OST post for them, either because they don’t have an OST, or they haven’t released the official OST, or I wasn’t interested in the series themselves (for example, Please Teach Me has 50 episodes of about 1 minute each episode which is ridiculous).

VBL Series Extra Episodes | VBL系列番外篇 (Taiwanese Series OST)
The Taiwanese VBL series – Stay By My Side 免疫屏蔽, You Are Mine 絕對佔領, VIP Only 保留席位, and Anti Reset 恆久定律 – have filmed a 20-minute extra episode for each of the 4 series. These extra episodes were produced through crowdfunding since January 18, 2024 through to April 30, 2024 and from all reports, the goal of the crowdfunding was reached after just one day and the filming went ahead smoothly. They have now released the teasers for each of the 4 extra episodes but no date has been announced for when they will be shown. However the promotional theme song for the extra episodes have been released…

Who would have thought this time last year that we would be getting so many BL dramas adapted from popular Chinese BL novels, yes proper BL dramas, not the bromance drama adaptations we are used to in the last 5 or 6 years from China. All of these new “Chinese” BL dramas are now cleverly circumventing China and being produced and broadcast outside China!
