Hard Nights คืนนี้ผมนอนไม่หลับ (direct translation is I Can’t Sleep Tonight) is a 10-episode Thai LGBTQ+ drama series which will premiere on January 11, 2026. Finally a gay drama from Thailand featuring a middle-aged couple in their 50s… I don’t think this can be classed as a BL drama since it tackles more realistic gay relationship as opposed to fantasy storylines in BL dramas, to me BL dramas are a sub-genre under the LGBTQ+ genre. Having said that, I will still tag this post under BL as well as LGBTQ+, just to confuse you, LOL… No, seriously this is in case readers who consider all Asian gay dramas as BL, they can still find this post under the BL tag…

Heated Rivalry (Canadian Series OST)
Heated Rivalry is a 6-episode Canadian LGBTQ+ sports romance series which will drop on November 28, 2025 internationally. It has its first-episode premiere at the 38th image+nation Queer Film Festival in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on November 23, 2025. It is adapted from the second book of the same name from the Game Changers novel series written by Rachel Reid. There is a playlist for the novel itself created by Rachel Reid, so I expect there will be an official soundtrack for the series, although there’s no information for it at the moment. Me in His Eyes 彼の瞳に映る僕 (Japanese Movie OST)
Me in His Eyes 彼の瞳に映る僕, also translated as Me Reflected in His Eyes (the English titles are not official, they are the direct translations of the Japanese title), is a Japanese LGBTQ+ independent film which will premiere on October 17, 2025 in Japan. This is the third film by actor/director Ishida Mizuki 石田瑞樹 who is just 23 years old. The other two films are 当たり前じゃない日常 (Everyday Life Is Not Commonplace – vertical film) and あの月になれたら (If I Could Be That Moon – short film).

Blind Love 失明 (Taiwanese Movie OST)
Blind Love 失明 is a Taiwanese LGBTQ+ film which premiered at the 2025 International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) on February 4, 2025. It was released in theatres from September 19, 2025 across Taiwan. The film is adapted from the short story of the same name first published in the Taiwanese magazine, Unitas 聯合文學雜誌 in 2003 by Marula Liu 劉梓潔 (alias Essay Liu), and it earned the author Unitas Literature Newcomer Award 聯合文學小說新人獎 for Fiction. The story was later included in the short story collection, My Dear Child 親愛的小孩 (also translated as Baby, My Dear) by Marula Liu published in 2013.
