Update September 13, 2012: Just found out that ABC2 is airing season 2 of The Great Food Truck Race starting tomorrow night, September 14, 2012 at 7:30pm. It is a fun, light entertaining series perfect for the start of the weekend which I was hooked when ABC2 aired season 1 last year, it is like a cross between My Kitchen Rules and The Amazing Race, so give it a go if you have not seen it before. Season 3 is currently screening in the US on Food Network.

Update December 20, 2011: Wow, all the UK chefs are out in force this Christmas! ABC1 aired part 1 of Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas (see previous update) last week and part 2 continues this Thursday night at 8:30pm. Tonight ABC1 is screening the 1-hour edition of Rick Stein’s Cornish Christmas at 8:30pm following the Christmas episode of Nigella Kitchen at 8:00pm. Then on Friday, December 23, 2011, Channel 10 is resting Jamie’s Great Britain for the holiday season and instead will air the 2-hour Jamie’s Best Ever Christmas at 7:30pm.
Update December 15, 2011: ABC1 will air the 2-part series from BBC America, Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas (made in 2010), starting tonight at 8:30pm and continuing next Thursday night same time. The recipes can be found here.
