Second Life 突破：三千米的泳氣 (translated as Breakthrough: 3000m of Courage) is a Taiwanese inspirational film that premiered as a special advance screening at Nantou Theatre 南投戲院 in Nantou City 南投市 on September 14, 2025 and will be released in theatres across Taiwan on October 3, 2025. The film is based on a true event that occurred in 2020 about a group of seven visually impaired swimmers who successfully swam 3,300m across Sun Moon Lake 日月潭 located in the foothills of Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range.

The On1y One 某某 (note that On1y in the English title is spelled with a numeric ‘1’ and not the letter ‘l’) is a 12-episode Taiwanese BL series which premiered on August 22, 2024. It is adapted from the Chinese BL novel A Certain Someone 某某 (a.k.a. Someone I Met That Summer) by Mu Su Li 木蘇里. There are five songs from the OST, four of the songs are brand new written especially for the drama series, the song from Ricky Hsiao is already a hit released earlier this year in April and chosen to be included as one of the songs for the OST…

Last Train 末班車 – Ricky Hsiao 蕭煌奇
One of the biggest hits of 2011 by Taiwanese blind singer Ricky Hsiao (蕭煌奇). I love this original version by Ricky which is more about acceptance, but I also love the live version by Shin (信) from season 4 of I Am A Singer (我是歌手4) which is a very powerful rendition more about reluctance to let go.
