Singing with Legends 3 (2021)《我們的歌》第三季
Season 3 of Our Song 我們的歌, or Singing with Legends, premiered on Spetember 19, 2021 and designated as the season of Young Forever 唱出青春樣. This year the legends or established singers include George Lam 林子祥, Chyi Chin 齊秦, Miriam Yeung 楊千嬅, Joker Xue 薛之謙, and Penny Tai 戴佩妮 (also lead singer of Buddha Jump 佛跳牆), and the new generation of singers include Calvin Hu Xia 胡夏, Eric Chou 周興哲, Sunnee 楊芸晴, Silence Wang 汪蘇瀧, Shan Yichun 單依純 and OST specialist Liu Yuning 劉宇寧. The rest are mainland Chinese singers I’ve never heard of, LOL…

When You Loved Me 愛我的時候 – Eric Chou 周興哲 & Shan Yichun 單依純
A new song written and composed by Eric Chou 周興哲 for the start of 2021. This is a duet with the up-and-coming young Chinese singer, Shan Yichun 單依純, who incidentally is participating in the second season of The Treasured Voice 天賜的聲音 currently. Just a quick note here that when 單 is used as surname, it should be pronounced as Shàn, NOT Dān. No official MV available yet, only an audio version of the song.

The Treasured Voice 2 《天賜的聲音》第二季
Season 2 of The Treasured Voice 天賜的聲音 started airing on January 15, 2021 with Tiger Hu 胡彥斌, Angela Chang 張韶涵, David Tao 陶喆 and Cannon Hu 胡海泉 as this season’s music partners. Jeff Chang 張信哲 was on the schedule as one of the main partners this season, but so far he has been absent, so I hope Jeff may come on in later episodes. After watching a few episodes of Season 1 last year, I’m still very confused with the concept of the show, LOL… Apparently it is to find a duo with a golden song at the end, but since they are just singing familiar popular old songs, what’s the meaning of “golden” song? But what the heck, I won’t waste time thinking, just sit back and enjoy some of the songs in each episode whatever the concept of the show is!
