Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars 向流星許願的我們 is a 12-episode Taiwanese fantasy healing BL series which will premiere start on March 26, 2026. It is adapted from the award winning short story The Correct Way to Watch a Meteor Shower 觀看流星的正確方式 by Chung Min-Jui 鍾旻瑞 published in 2019.

Update March 20, 2026: Just found out the series actually premiered as a press preview of the first five episodes on or around March 5, 2026. Then the first two episodes were screened at a Meet-and-Greet event for some fans on March 17, 2026.

Smile After Tears 轉過頭幫你擦眼淚 is an upcoming 12-episode (?) Taiwanese BL series which will premiere soon. All reports at the moment indicated that it will premiere around 情人節 which can mean either Valentine’s Day February 14, or White Day 白色情人節 March 14. However since there has not been any teaser or trailer released so far, I am inclined to think it is most likely to premiere in March…

Love is Real 我說愛你是真的 is a Taiwanese vertical BL series which will premiere on January 25, 2026 on OnReel app, YOUKU app 優酷國際版, mov app and also on VBL Series YouTube channel. This is a spin-off series to last year’s series Black&White is Real 黑白原來是真的. The first 18 episodes are free to watch on the apps.

Black&White is Real 黑白原來是真的 is a Taiwanese vertical BL series which will start streaming from October 27, 2025. However there will be an advance screening event on October 26, 2025 in Taiwan. There is no information on how many episodes, teaser/trailer, synopsis or streaming platform at the moment, but the press release indicated that 2 episodes will be released each day with limited time of free-to-watch… I think this is the first time (?) that a Taiwanese BL couple from a previous Taiwanese BL series (Fight For You 對立而已) that has returned for a second BL series together…

The Promise of the Soul 靈魂約定 is a 12-episode Taiwanese BL series which will premiere tonight, June 27, 2025. It is the third instalment of the Taiwanese VBL series for the 2024-2025 season. If I remember correctly, this is the first VBL series to be adapted from a novel, all the previous VBL series were from original scripts I think. Correct me if I’m wrong 🙂
