OK, just a heads-up about two western vertical BL series from 2024 which I didn’t know before, but maybe some of you might be interested in. They are not really proper series in their own right but queer spin-off to vertical BG (Boy-Girl) series, one is from Australia, and the other one from England. Don’t know if it is worth my time downloading an app just for the spin-off since both spin-off series are very short, just 10 minutes and 15 minutes respectively.
Cover Story is a 10-minute Australian werewolf BL spin-off series to My Moonlit Alpha Prince (BG vertical series). It premiered on March 1, 2024. In a quirky high school, two werewolf boys bound over a book and stumble into a sweet, unexpected romance. The short drama stars Christian Houston as Owen and Rhys Sherlock as Liam.
Heart & Strings is a 15-minute English BL spin-off series to My Very Royal Romance (BG vertical series) which was touted as UK’s first-ever vertical short series. Both verticals premiered on May 9, 2024. Heart & Strings stars Max Luck as Prince Xavier Piercemont with Freddie Palmer as Sebastian Kamir.
