Khemjira เขมจิราต้องรอด is a 12-episode Thai BL series which will premiere on August 9, 2025, but there was a Khemjira Pre Screaming event held on August 3, 2025 for fans in Thailand. It is adapted from the novel Khemjira’s Rescue เขมจิราต้องรอด by Cali❀ คาลิ🌻.
Khemjira was born into a cursed family whose sons shall perish before they turn 20. To alter his fate, his mother gave him a girl name, “Khemjira,” meaning “to forever be safe.” That was what Khemjira believed…until his 19th birthday came.
Khemjira, or Khem, is a young man who can see ghosts. He was born into a cursed family in which every male must die before the age of 21. As the spirits around him grow increasingly aggressive, the protective amulet he has worn his whole life begins to lose its power. Unable to bear seeing Khem in danger, Jettana, his friend from university, takes him to a rural village in the Northeast, where they meet Pharan, a revered teacher of ancient magic who once mentored Jettana. Strange and mysterious events unfold, all connected to the past life. Amid these supernatural encounters and the haunting pursuit of revengeful spirits, a deep emotional connection begins to form between Khem and Pharan.

Update September 3, 2025: Another song from the OST… Not sure what the title of the song means, I googled and it translated into either Black Goat, or Black Dog, Black Go (the board game), LOL… Then I searched for the meaning, and it is a name of a person in a Thai legend, and also the name of a dish… BTW, Kodả is pronounced as Kodam.
