Twin Flames 裂焰 (Lie Yan) is a 50-episode Chinese short series (of about 3-4 minutes each episode, NOT vertical series) that premiered on December 22, 2025. Previously the Chinese title was called 雙生焰 but it was changed to the current title just days before premiering. It was also rumoured very early on during the announcement stage that this might be a BL series because one of the leads is Thai actor James Supamongkon เจมส์ ศุภมงคล วงศ์วิสุทธ์ 程浩顏, but since then it has been confirmed it is just a series with double-male lead actors which is also able to be aired in China.

Random Ramblings on BL Dramas – No, Your Majesty
More western vertical BL series keeps dropping for the holiday binging! No, Your Majesty is an 81-episode English-language Ukrainian BL series which dropped on December 19, 2025 on MyDrama. This is the app that had the debacle over the clickbait vertical BL series Wicked Game earlier this year! Although they remedied it by re-filming Wicked Game as a full series and launching it by September this year, that app still left a sour taste in my mouth, LOL… That said, both of these series are from Ukraine and their accents are pretty thick, I kept having to look at the subtitles to be sure what they are saying. Also another new Ukrainian vertical BL series starring the two actors from the reboot Wicked Game is scheduled to drop tomorrow on Boxing Day…

The Racer and His Dr. Perfect 誘他失控 is a 65-episode Chinese vertical BL series that dropped on December 21, 2025 (?) on NetShort. Interestingly, NetShort felt the need to change the Chinese names of the protagonists into English names for the English subtitles, LOL… Did they think viewers who don’t speak Chinese are unable to follow the story if the names remain as Chinese?
